Children and Young People’s Officer

The CYP Officer will be at the forefront of our youth programme delivery, working together with our volunteers across Wales to ensure children and young people (ages 5 – 25) receive high quality, engaging and relevant experiences through our Badgers and Cadet programmes and beyond.

What you’ll need to be successful
We’re looking for a positive and engaging individual with a passion for improving the lives of children and young people through engaging youth programmes. The postholder will need to use their initiative to work on projects independently and deliver continuous improvements to our youth offer. You will need to be confident in delivering training to volunteers, with a keen eye for detail.

You will be solutions focussed, with excellent interpersonal skills in both written and oral communication, being able to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders (both internal and external) for the good of our youth programmes. You will embody our values and behaviours as well as being passionate about St John Ambulance Cymru’s strategic goal of creating a community of lifesavers in Wales.
